Flexible Solar Strip Lighting

Solar lighting has taken a step to the next level with flexible solar strip lighting. It is turning up on buses, at bus stations, on pathways, and in parking lots. With light in these new locations, the world is becoming a brighter, safer place.

Flexible solar strip lighting is exactly like it sounds, flexible. Not only is it flexible in location, it's also physically flexible. The strips also have a solar inverter, which converts the energy from the photovoltaic panels from direct current (DC, from the sun's rays) into alternating current (AC). Alternating current is used to power all household appliances (including lighting) and is also the type of current utility companies use. The AC collected is directly applied to the flexible solar strip lighting.

The cost to install flexible solar strip lighting is quickly made back, and eventually, actually makes money. Instead of not having the lighting at all, or paying for batteries, chargers, or money to the utility company, the light applied to the flexible solar strip lighting is completely free of charge - courtesy of the sun's rays. Maintenance on solar energy collectors is minimal. Warranties run about 25 years on average, but the solar collectors often last much longer than that - from between 40 to 80 years.

Another monetary benefit of the new flexible solar strip lighting is that it completely avoids inflation. Instead of paying more and more to the utility company, the solar strip lighting is generating its own energy. This long-term investment is good for everyone.
